AROUND THE HOME
We offer a range of domestic and personal assistance services, as well as home maintenance support to make sure your home is safe and accessible.
- ​Home maintenance: We can help you get to those things that can be hard to reach – like changing light bulbs or smoke alarm batteries.
- ​House cleaning: Tidying, washing dishes and helping to maintain a clean home for you to relax in.
- ​Minor repairs: Taking care of those fixtures and fittings such as taps and paint chips that naturally wear out over time and require repairs and servicing.

TRANSPORT SERVICES
Getting out and engaging with friends and the community is just as important as enjoying your home environment. We’ll help to ensure you’re able to lead a life that’s active and meaningful.

- ($62 an hour higher, $27 equipment fee plus $1100 bond. Great idea for an art and craft day EG: Tie dyeing shirts, Making dream catchers, Canvas painting and other craft ideas. Thecommunity halls are spread throughout the gold coast, and some are cheaper by thehour depends on the area.

A lot of these activities have group pricing of 20 people plus. I have emailed and waiting on a response.

These activities can run all year long except during winter swimming wouldn’t be an option. Halls, Bowling, Iplay etc, Subject to availability.
Participant Numbers and Age’s
- Numbers of participants would be decided between each activity
E.g., hiring a community centre for activities we could have more children than a theme park day.
- Theme parks 10-15 participants
- Community centre 10-25 participants
- Ages ranging 5 years to 15 years (Depending on the activity)
Carer Ratio to Participants
Allied Health Assistant
- 1:1 1:2 1:4 Carers to children
- Some cases it would be 2:1 or 2:4 carers to children
- This depends on the child’s disability
- Ndis may fund 2 carers for one child outside of the home environment where they
- may only need 1 carer.
This would be determined on the onboarding of the child for the day program and if the child requires any extra assistants.
- Water activities my suggestion is 1 assistant to 2 children
- Theme parks bowling and movie activities 4 children to 1 carer
E.g., Bowling allows up to 6 children per lane 1-2 carers could overlook these children depending on child’s requirements.

Day Program Pick Up/ Drop off
- Meeting at a park or landmark in each area for pick up (parents to pick up and drop off from this location.
- Starting at the furthest child from destination we do a pickup drop off from home system first child pick up is dropped home last and last child picked up is dropped home first.
- I did some asking around and 70% of parents ask have said the drop off pick up system from home would be what attracts them to the respite holiday program.
Insurance
All registered NDIS providers that offer disability care service must have:
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance
- Personal Accident Insurance

- Week 1 Monday 12th - Friday 16 th December
- Week 2 Monday 19 th - Friday 23 rd December
- Week 3 Monday 26th - Friday 30 th December (no activities)
- Week 4 Monday 2 nd January - Friday 6 th January
- Week 5 Monday 9 th January – Friday 13 th January
- Week 6 Monday 16 th January – Friday 21 st January
Each week can run 3 activities more if needed

I have rung around and emailed a few companies that have 16–20-seater buses with driver. ( Around $11,000 for a holiday period for 3 days a week for 5 weeks )
